Meet the Growing TMG Team

There’s been a lot happening behind the scenes at TMG lately 👀

New faces. New roles. And a growing team of Marketing Girls making the magic happen for our clients every day.

As That Marketing Girl continues to grow, so does the team behind it. We’ve welcomed Sophia and Ellie into the mix, while our very own Jess has stepped into a new role as Head of Agency.

So, we thought it was time for a proper introduction (and re-introduction) to some of the girls helping shape this next chapter of TMG.

Jess: Head of Agency

Leading the girls. Moving us forward.

With an eye for performance and a heart for her people, Jess keeps our team and clients thriving.

If you’ve been around TMG for a while, Jess probably isn’t a new face, but her role has had a pretty exciting upgrade.

As our Head of Agency, Jess now leads the day-to-day at That Marketing Girl, bringing our people, clients and big ideas together.

She guides the team, mentors our Marketing Girls and makes sure the work we put into the world lives up to the standards we’re known for.

With a serious knack for paid media and a sharp eye for the numbers, Jess knows how to turn performance insights into smarter decisions. She stays close to the strategy on key client accounts, while keeping the bigger picture in focus: strong relationships, a thriving team and an agency that keeps growing in the right direction.

It’s an exciting next step for Jess and one that feels pretty damn fitting for the powerhouse she is.

Beyond TMG: Jess is usually planning her next adventure, enjoying a glass of red or spoiling her Maltese Shih Tzu, Luca, like the human he thinks he is. HGWs, books and pastries are all very much part of the lifestyle.

Sophia: Social Media Assistant

Fresh perspective. Infectious enthusiasm.

Sophia brings creativity, care and a knack for keeping all the moving pieces on track.

One of the newest additions to the TMG crew, Sophia is another one of the girls making the magic happen behind the feed.

As a Social Media Assistant, Sophia supports the team across our portfolio of clients, from sourcing inspiration and shaping content ideas to scheduling, community management and keeping all the moving pieces on track.

She also looks after a curated selection of clients of her own, bringing the same care and creativity to every brand she touches.

A lot of Sophia’s best work happens behind the scenes, in the little details our clients might never see but absolutely benefit from. And with more brands, content and campaigns moving through TMG than ever, having another set of creative hands on deck has been a very welcome addition.

Beyond TMG: Sophia loves wining and dining, though don’t be caught off guard if she casually runs a marathon for the plot before her next dinner reservation.

Ellie: Social Media Assistant

Behind the feed. Across the details.

Ellie turns her love of what’s happening online into fun, thoughtful content for our clients.

Also joining the TMG crew is Ellie, who has wasted no time getting stuck into all things content as our Social Media Assistant.

Ellie is the team’s resident social butterfly, and it shows in the way she approaches social media. She’s curious about what people are talking about, what’s making them stop scrolling and how we can turn those moments into something fun for our clients.

Across the TMG portfolio, Ellie helps source ideas, prepare content and keep things moving behind the scenes, while also caring for a selection of clients herself.

She brings enthusiasm to every brief and is always up for bouncing around a new idea with the team… which, in a team full of marketers, happens a lot.

Beyond TMG: You’ll usually find Ellie at Pilates or making plans with friends. Her calendar is busy, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Alex, Amelia and Mia continue to shape TMG, with exciting new chapters ahead for each of them.

Of course, this next chapter wouldn’t be complete without our much-loved OG Marketing Girls, who continue to make TMG what it is.

With Jess taking the lead on many of the day-to-day responsibilities, our founder Mia now has the chance to truly step into her director role, and she’s loving it. Having more room to focus on the bigger picture, shape the future of TMG and support the team’s growth has been an exciting shift for the girl who started it all.

Our wonderful Alex continues to shine as a Social Media Coordinator, while also absolutely killing it as she builds her skills in paid ads. Some of our clients are already getting to work with her across both, and we love seeing her bring her understanding of their brands into this side of their marketing too.

And our brilliant Amelia continues to do phenomenal work as a Social Media Coordinator, bringing so much creativity, thought and care to the brands she looks after. We’ve got exciting plans in the pipeline for both Alex and Amelia to keep growing and evolving within TMG, so watch this space!

Every person brings something special to our little TMG ecosystem. From our original crew to our newest faces, everyone plays an important role in the work we create, the relationships we build and the way we support each other. TMG simply wouldn’t be TMG without each of them.

Growing TMG has always been about bringing the right people together. People who care about the work, our clients and creating social media that does more than simply fill a feed.

With new faces joining us and familiar ones growing into their next chapter, there are more brains around the table, more ideas being thrown around and more support behind every client account.

And we’re pretty excited about what that means for where TMG goes next.
